This study aims to document the implementation of QRIS in Madurese stalls in Sumenep City and analyze its compatibility with four Islamic transaction principles: clarity (free from gharar), free from usury (riba), justice ('adalah), and trustworthiness (amanah). The research employs a qualitative approach with a single instrumental case study design. Data collection was conducted through participatory observation for six weeks (March 5 - April 15, 2026), in-depth interviews with the stall owner, customers, and a LinkAja manager, as well as transaction documentation at Warung Berkah Madura, Kolor Village, Kota District, Sumenep Regency. The results showed that out of 482 observed QRIS transactions, technical obstacles occurred in 33 transactions (6.8%), including interrupted internet signals, delayed fund transfers, and funds that never arrived. The Sharia compliance analysis revealed that the principles of being free from usury and clarity of payment nominal were fulfilled. However, the principles of clarity of transaction completion time, justice (the right to reject transactions during system errors and compensation mechanisms), and trustworthiness (personal data protection) were not fulfilled. This study recommends that QRIS service providers revise their policies regarding compensation mechanisms and data transparency, and that DSN-MUI issue additional fatwas more specifically regulating the rights of micro-merchants.
