Islamic Economics, Three Pillars, Maqashid Asy SyariahAbstract
Islam views economic activities as one of the important elements in efforts to create the welfare of the people, maintain economic sustainability, and uphold justice. This view is in line with Maqashid Ash-Sharia, which directs every economic activity not only to meet material needs but also to achieve spiritual happiness. The balance between worldly and ukhrawi interests is the core of the implementation of Islamic economics, so supervision and commitment are needed to implement economic practices that are in line with sharia principles as a whole. For this reason, it is necessary to have a three-pillar progress strategy, namely, justice, welfare, and sustainability. These three aspects are then reflected in the principles of Maqashid Asy Syariah which includes five aspects, namely, maintaining religion, maintaining intellect, maintaining nasab, safeguarding property, and maintaining the soul, and there are three aspects that are perfect, namely Dhururiyat (main aspect), Hajjiyat (secondary aspect), and Tahsiniyat (tertiary aspect). This study uses a qualitative approach methodology with a literature study method because it can provide a deep understanding of complex issues through data analysis from various literature sources, both primary and secondary.
